Setting Up an Email Account on the iPhone or the iPod Touch

The instructions that follow will show you how to properly setup an email account on Apple iPhone which is part of the iPhone software created by Apple.

You can configure any email account directly on the iPhone or the iPod Touch. You will simply need the standard email account information: username, password, and the incoming and outgoing mail server host information for your domain, e.g. www.cmation.net.

NOTE:



1. First time users tap Mail otherwise tap Settings.

If this is the first account you're setting up on the iPhone or the iPod Touch, tap Mail. Otherwise, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts and choose Add Account....

2. Choose your email account type.

For setting up email to work with your CMATION ® service choose Other.

3. Select Add Mail Account .

4. Fill in your account information

Select POP for the account type
Name - Enter your full name
Address - Enter your email address
Description - Enter your email address
Then click Save.

5. Incoming / Outgoing Mail Server Information

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: www.cmation.net User Name: [your email address] Password: [your emial password]

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Host Name: www.cmation.net User Name: [your email address] Password: [your emial password]

Tap Advanced.

6. Edit Advanced Settings

a. Incoming Uses SSL - Set to OFF

b. Outgoing Uses SSL - Set to ON
